My Freelance Writing Journey
I’ve been in the Freelancing field since 2021. At that time, one of my friends told me about freelancing. She said freelancing can make us independent financially. I did not believe in her talks, but she insisted I join FWI Freelance Writing Course. As she was my closest best friend to me:), I accepted her request to learn this online content Writing course. We both enrolled in freelance writing courses at Freelance Working Institute (FWI).
This course was short but very interactive and designed by a female tutor Hira Mughal. And a team of FWI was very cooperative and communal. We enjoyed this online learning period at FWI. I began to make notes on what was taught in lectures. And I started to do everything practically. I needed to take more interest in freelance writing. I made all assignments assigned in that course. At the end of this content Writing course, I was awarded a Content Writing certificate and resume from Freelance Working Institute.
My Freelance Writing Earning at FWI
I made my first earnings at FWI. How? FWI also provides Freelance writing jobs to its students. FWI offers two types of jobs:

Freelance Writing Jobs by FWI
FWI gives content Writing jobs to only those students who’ve completed all lectures and assignments and are certified by Freelance Working Institute (FWI). I was one of them and got Freelance writing jobs from FWI. Mam gave me the client’s WhatsApp number, which I contacted and got a lot of writing projects. I made 50,000+ earnings from FWI as it was a low-paid job. So I left that job and started developing on popular freelancing platforms like Fiver, Upwork, freelancers.com, etc.
Marketing Jobs from FWI
Freelance Working Institute also provides marketing jobs to students, asking them to make referrals and earn money. My instructor then asked me to enroll one student in the next batch course and earn Rs. 500 per student. I found this job very useful. I began to market FWI Freelance Writing Course among my friends and relatives. In the next batch after mine, I enrolled 18 students, including my friends, cousins, and others. From these referrals, I earned RS. 9000 within one week.

I created a Fiver gig according to mam’s instructions, using keywords in the description, title, and another guide.
After this, I began sharing my gig on social media to get clicks and impressions. You wouldn’t believe it, but I got a message from a client on fiver. She hired me for two articles for $10. I tried my best to deliver my first order. For this, I got 5-star ⭐ reviews from that client. She liked my work, so she again hired me to give me more projects. Finally, I earned $500+ on Fiverr. After getting one scam there, I was disappointed and decided to leave fiver. I didn’t leave fiver, but I went to be active there.

How do I earn my content writing at Upwork?
After getting disappointed with Fiverr :(, I discussed it with my FWI mam. She suggested I join Upwork. I signed up there by watching a video on YouTube. My mam always advised us to start with little. I began to apply for low-paid jobs. So, I got my first order within one week here too. It was Cyrus Sandoval (client). He assigned me an article of 2000 words for $6.
I knew it was low-paid, but I wanted to get a 5-star review on my profile. I decided to give my best on my first project.
Due to my sincere effort, I got a 5-star review from him, and still, I’m working with him. I’d done his project last night. He’s a gem for me because he assigned me projects continuously and made my profile Top rated. That’s why I always accepted his projects. Currently, I’m working on Upwork, where I’ve earned $2000+, but it’ll become more in the upcoming days. Due to my study schedule, I needed to give proper time to Upwork. But whenever I’ll be free from College. I’ll increase my earnings on Upwork.
